The first artist to ever receive an Asterope cable was Bob Babbitt, who encouraged me to pursue this technology and the development of this company.  Bob was not only one of "the great" bass players of our time, but he was also a best friend, a remarkable mentor to many, and collaborator on numerous projects that I produced while working in Nashville.  His music, his wisdom and his glowing soul are missed.  D.
